This book is very advanced. I would recommend reading "Cells, Gels, and the Engines of Life" by Gerald Pollack before tackling this book. Pollacks books has allot of pictures to illustrate the concepts in this book. Eventhough this book has many illustrations, it goes into great detail. A simple concept is that you have bulk water and structured water. The charges of our proteins determines what type of water structure surrounds it. Then it gets complicated. This understanding leads to miniture motors, pumps, communications systems, etc. It can even violate the second law of thermodynamics by reducing the energy for chemical reactions (free ride), etc. This physics will be the basis of future medicine once the rest of the scientific community figures it out. Urry discusses his discoveries of mechanical accoustic resonances that occur within elastic proteins. These resonances will occur at different frequencies depending upon whether strutured water is present or not. Take note of this if you know anything about homeopathy. This acoustic phenomenia may be the means how the mysterious patent US6541978 by Jacques Benveniste: "Method, system and device for producing signals from a substance" works. It may also relate to Wave Genetics, Peter Gariaev, US20070258329. Our morphogenetic field may also be involved with this discovery.
